Suspect, info sought in city shooting
By Frank Gerace Share

Wilmington police are looking for a suspect and more information in a Tuesday night shooting.

Officers found the 20-year-old victim near 5th and Monroe Streets around 6:15, and he told them he'd just left his house and was walking along Monroe Street when he saw some people fighting on 5th, heard several shots, and realized he'd been wounded in the buttocks. Police say a bullet also went through a window at a nearby house.

The victim couldn't tell police who'd shot him, so city detectives are asking anyone who has information to call them or Crimestoppers, or go to tipsubmit.com.
