Two companies are recalling some ready-to-eat Mexican foods because they may be contaminated with salmonella.

The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service says Ruiz Foods is recalling packages of tornados of beef with cheese, and Windsor Foods is recalling beef and steak taquitos and chicken quesadillas that contain hydrolyzed vegetable protein, a flavor enhancer that may be contaminated with salmonella.

There haven't been any reports of illness linked to the products so far.
