Rakestraw weighs in on VA, NJ elections
By Frank Gerace
A longstanding member of the Republican Party in Delaware says Tuesday's wins by GOP members in Governor's races in Virginia and New Jersey are significant.
State Committeewoman Priscilla Rakestraw says Democrats' apparent inability to
motivate voters a year after President Obama's election has to be their biggest

Rakestraw says young and minority voters didn't turn out Tuesday in numbers nearly as
high as in last year's Presidential race, which is another potential problem for the
Democrats heading into 2010's mid-term elections.
She also praised New Jersey Governor-elect Chris Christie for not running a negative
campaign against Democratic incumbent Jon Corzine.
