Poll: Castle over AG Biden in Senate race

A just-released poll shows Congressman Castle with a sizable lead over Attorney General Beau Biden in a hypothetical Senate race.

The survey by Pennsylvania-based Susquehanna Polling and Research shows Castle, an 8-term Republican Representative, with an overall 55-to-34-percent lead over Biden, a Democrat and the son of Vice President Joe Biden.

Castle's lead among Republicans is 82 to 25 percent, and among independents, 55 to 28 percent. Democrats surveyed favor Biden by 52 to 36 percent.

8 percent of respondents were undecided.

500 registered voters took part in the poll, which was conducted between April 27th and 30th and whose margin of error is plus or minus 4 point 3 percent.
