Electric cars to be built in Delaware

Danish automaker Henrik Fisker wants to bring the auto industry back to Delaware.

Fisker Automotive is repurposing the old General Motors plant, outside of Wilmington, to build electric cars. The cars are able to run for 50 miles without any gas.Audio Here

Production on the cars will begin in 2012.Audio Here

Fisker said Delaware's port is a big draw for the company, which wants to export up to 50% of the cars.
