Law firm sues TD Bank, claiming gift card overcharges

A local law firm sues TD Bank, claiming it overcharged a gift card user for several months.
Tom Crumplar with Jacobs and Crumplar tells WDEL News his firm filed a class action
suit this week, seeking monetary damages and an agreement from the bank not to do it

Crumplar says TD Bank charged his client a dollar more than the administration fee
allowed in its terms and conditions for gift cards, and anyone else who was overcharged
can call his firm to find out about joining the lawsuit.
Citing company policy on pending litigation, a TD Bank representative contacted by
WDEL News didn't comment.
