Man shot trying to break up fight in Wilmington

Wilmington police are looking for a man who shot another man who was trying to break up a fight between the shooter and a third man.

Police say the victim was trying to stop the scuffle in the 13 hundred block of North Claymont Street around 9 Tuesday night when the shooter pulled out a gun and fired into the air, then at the victim, hitting him in the knee.

The suspect drove off, and the victim was taken to Christiana Hospital.
