Campus cops seek info in attack on UD student
By Frank Gerace

UD campus police are looking for clues in an attack that left a student injured and incoherent early Friday morning.

Officers found the student at the Perkins Student Center around 6:20.

He had slight skull fractures and scrapes on his hands and arms, and couldn't say what had happened to him.

Police say the student's whereabouts are unknown between 1:30, when he left a house on West Main Street, and the time he talked to police.

The student, described as white, about 5-11 with a medium build and dark brown hair and wearing a dark-colored shirt and light brown pants, had his wallet and cell phone with him, so police don't think he's the victim of a robbery attempt.

Anyone with information can call UD police.
