By Associated Press 9:38pm, February 6, 2010The triggerman of a botched 2008 robbery that led to the shooting death of a Wilmington man has been sentenced to 37 years in prison.
A judge Friday sentenced 23-year-old Timothy Carter of Wilmington for second-degree murder and a weapons charge.
Twenty-nine-year-old Timonte Christopher of Elsmere and 21-year-old Dwayne Woodhouse of Wilmington were sentenced to 11 years in prison for manslaughter and a weapons charge.
Twenty-year-old Matthew Johnson of Wilmington received an eight year prison sentence for manslaughter. The four made plea deals with prosecutors in December.
Police say the men thought that Michael Holloway was wealthy.
After the four forced their way into his apartment in August 2008, Holloway died after a struggle.
