Korn wins, incumbents Plant & Walsh lose

Rounding out the night's races....

Richard Korn won the Democratic nomination for State Auditor over Ken Matlusky, 54% to 46%.

One big upset in State House races: incumbent Hazel Plant lost to Wilmington City Councilwoman Stephanie Bolden in the 2nd district.

In the closest race of the night, Ron Smith bet Ron Poliquin for the 31st District GOP nomination by 14 votes.

In the 9th district, Rebecca Walker won the Democratic nomination. John Marino won the GOP nom.

Edward Osienski won in the 24th district. Lincoln Willis won in the 29th. Lincoln Willis won in the 29th and Harold Peterman won in the 33rd.

In the New Castle County 3rd district, Janet Kilpatrick beat Mike Protack by less than 200 votes.

Long-time New Castle County Sheriff Mike Walsh lost the Democratic nomination to New Castle County police corporal Trinidad Navarro. William Hart won the GOP nomination.
