By Don Voltz 7:34am, October 3, 2012 - Updated 4:23pm, October 3, 2012Delaware sophomore wide receiver Stephen Clark is glad to be healthy...Clark appeared in just 5 games in 2011 and was slowed down by a hamstring injury in the latter part of the season and spring drills.
With his hamstring problem behind him, Clark has caught 12 balls this season, good for 3rd on the team, for 105 yards.
He's still looking for his first touchdown, but knows that can come at any time with quarterback Trent Hurley spreading the ball around among several quality receivers.
Clark's biggest game was against New Hampshire last weekend with 5 catches for 24 yards.
Clark isn't the biggest receiver...while he stands 6-2, he tips the scales at just 170 pounds....but he says he knows his job is to catch the ball, and hang on to it no matter how hard the hit.
Clark is a wildlife conservation major at Delaware and would like to work at an endangered species reserve after graduation.
