Wesley faces a familiar foe as they wrap up the 2012 regular season schedule with a Senior Day battle with the Apprentice School Saturday at Miller Stadium.

The Builders and Wolverines comprised half of the final version of the Atlantic Central Football Conference which fell apart when Salisbury and Frostburg joined the Empire 8 in 2011.

Points have been tough to come by for Apprentice in recent years, with Wesley not surrendering more than 7 points in a game since 2001, and the Builders have been blanked in three of the last four contests. Last year Wesley rolled to a 55-0 victory down in Newport News, Va.

This year Apprentice has struggled to a 2-6 record, with their only victories coming against club-level Coppin State and junior college Alfred State.

Linebacker Izhia Roundtree leads a solid Builder defense with 57 tackles along with 2.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss. Offensively Paul Morgan has taken over the keys to the offense, throwing four touchdowns against just one interception in 86 attempts.

Game time at Miller Stadium is 1pm Saturday. (Noon WDEL)
