Claymont man fends off would-be robbers

State Police are looking for two suspects they say jumped a man in the parking lot of the Town and Country Shopping Center in Claymont.

Police say the victim is a 33 year old Claymont man. He tells police he was walking through the parking lot at about 12:30 Thursday afternoon, when two men approached him, one grabbed his wallet and both fled.

The victim was able to catch the man with the wallet causing him to drop it.

Both suspects were last seen running on Harvey Road.

One is white, 20 to 25, 5'8", 165 pounds. The second was black, 20 to 25, 6 feet, 170 pounds.

Neither has been caught. The victim wasn't hurt.
