By Amy Cherry 12:28am, November 22, 2012If you're hitting the mall for Black Friday, you may be able to get the same deals without all the crowds.
WDEL's Amy Cherry explains.
This year you don't even have a chance to digest your Thanksgiving dinner with stores opening that night for the Black Friday craze, and the question becomes, is there anything you really need that badly?
"Don't even leave your house; you don't need to do, you can get all those same deals on your computer in your pajamas in your own sweet time, there's no reason to go," recommends online shopping expert Mir Kamin.
Last year flat screen TVs and large electronics were a steal, but this year she's seeing a different trend.
"This year it's kind of all about the tablets, the new iPod touches, Mac Mini's, Kindle Fire, the HD Nook,"says Kamin.
Plus, she says you can compare prices, look for coupons, and usually get free shipping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
And she says Cyber Monday will be full of those deals you "missed" on Black Friday.
"Still going to be lots of electronics, but I would also keep your eyes open for lots of deals on clothing. That will probably be even more so on Cyber Monday, and you may be able to scope out some good deals on toys for the kids as well," she says.
