Phillies trade for center fielder

The Phillies went into the off-season knowing they needed a center they have one.

The Phillies have picked up Ben Revere from the Minnesota Twins in exchange for right-hander Vance Worley and Trevor May.

Revere hit .294 with 13 doubles, 6 triples, 32 RBI's and 40 stolen bases in 124 games last season with the Twins.

He ranked third in the American League in stolen bases in 2012 and led Twins outfielders in assists.

Worley was 6-9 last year for the Phils and 18-13 in his career.

May was 10-13 with a 4.87 ERA in 28 starts with Reading last season.
