No word yet on what caused the fire that destroyed a Brandywine Hundred home Tuesday afternoon.

The State Fire Marshal's Office says the fire caused $400,000 in damage to the home on Weldin Road.

Several fire companies were on the scene.

No one was home at the time, but two firefighters were hurt when they reportedly fell through a floor into the basement.
They were treated for non-life threatening injuries at Christiana Hospital.
