Elena Delle Donne and Devon Saddler both were named CAA Players of the Week following a successful week for the Blue Hen hoopsters.

Delle Donne averaged 29.5 points in victories over James Madison and George Mason to earn her 7th selection from the league this year. The Ursuline-alum is 2nd in the NCAA in scoring (25.1) and 7th in free throw percentage (91.4).

Elena scored 19 of her 28 points in the second half of Delaware's nail-biting 61-60 win over James Madison Sunday which clinched a share of the regular-season CAA title and ran the team's conference winning streak to 34 games.

Saddler dropped 31 points on Drexel in a thrilling double-overtime 73-71 victory last Thursday. He followed up that performance by scoring nine of Delaware's last ten points in a 79-78 victory at UNC-Wilmington on Saturday to snap his team's eight-game losing streak at Trask Coliseum.

The senior is now 4th all-time in Blue Hens history as he crossed the 1,600 point barrier last week. He has also scored in double-figures in 35 straight games, the second-longest active streak in Division I.
