DelDOT says the contractor on the Route 1/I-95 interchange project will install a sign and survey new girders over I-95.
From 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, Route 1 northbound will be closed just north of the Route 1 north to I-95 north on ramp (the ramp will remain OPEN). Follow this detour: I-95 northbound to Route 141 northbound (Exit 5B) to I-95 southbound to Churchman’s Road (Exit 4B).
From 11 p.m. Friday til noon on Saturday, the right three lanes along I-95 northbound will be CLOSED from Route 273 to the Route 1 overpass.
From 11 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday, the exit ramp from I-95 northbound to Route 7 northbound and southbound will be CLOSED. The detour is to take exit I-95 northbound at Route 273 eastbound (Exit 3A). Follow Route 273 eastbound to Route 1 northbound.
From 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 23 until noon, the left three lanes along I-95 southbound will be CLOSED from Churchmans Bridge to the Route 1 overpass.
