By Tom Lehman 4:15pm, March 25, 2013 - Updated 1:21pm, March 26, 2013A convicted drug offender faces new drug and firearm charges after Wilmington police say they found more than 1,000 bags of heroin in her home.
Police say officers executed a search warrant at the home of Zuikira Williams on the 300 block of West 4th Street around 9:10 p.m. Saturday.
After taking Williams into custody, officers discovered a revolver and the drugs. The 21 grams of heroin have an estimated value of $10,500.
Williams, who is a convicted drug offender and prohibited from owning a weapon, is behind bars at the Baylor Women's Correctional Institution.
