By Chris Carl 1:24pm, April 3, 2013The Delaware Air National Guard is getting an addition to its fleet.
The 166th Airlift Wing is gaining a C-130 aircraft.
The plane won't be new, but rather reassigned. When it arrives at the New Castle base in 2014, the Air Guard will have 9 C-130's.
Major General Frank Vavala says the addition not only strengthens the air guard's resources, but it puts the unit in a more secure long-term position.
