Del. Attorney General Beau Biden (WDEL File)A major book publisher is agreeing to settle up with the Attorneys General of 33 states, Delaware included.
Penguin Group is accused of manipulating the market place through artificial price increases.
An investigation revealed that Penguin, along with MacMillan and Apple collaborated to hike the price charged on various e-books...an arrangement the attorneys general say resulted in consumers being overcharged by $100-million nationwide.
Penguin has agreed to pay $164-million, with just over half a million of that money headed to Delaware.
