State fair begins in Harrington

Ten days of fun starts Thursday in Harrington.

The Delaware State Fair opens with racing pigs, a circus and lots of music.

"Luke Bryan with Florida Georgia Line is a sold-out show for us, and we have Trace Adkins coming, Dierks Bentley, Jeff Dunham, Austin Mahone is a kids' favorite, Victoria Justice," said Danny Aguilar, the fair's director of marketing.

Aguilar says they expect 300-thousand people to go through the gates. And they are ready for the heat.

"Last year we built a marketplace tent with over 84 vendors inside, so that's an air-conditioned building, and we have misting stations throughout the grounds," he said.
