Summer driving seasons closes as one of the most costly

The summer driving season closes out with one of the highest Labor Day prices on record.

AAA MidAtlantic says the national average for motorists over the course of the summer was $3.58, the third highest on-record behind $3.95 in 2008 and $3.65 in 2011.

It cost you most to fill up in Bear at $3.69/gallon. The lowest price AAA was in Townsend -- at $3.55.
