By Tom Lehman 11:39pm, September 3, 2013Delaware's lone member of the U.S. House gave his thoughts on a potential U.S. military intervention in Syria on WDEL Tuesday afternoon.
Congressman John Carney tells Delaware's Afternoon News he hasn't yet decided on whether he'll vote in favor of President Obama's request for a military strike in Syria.
"I'm very wary as are my constituents here in our state about getting involved in another military conflict," Carney says.
However, he supports the President's decision to ask Congress for an authorization to use military force but noted he wouldn't support a resolution that was "open-ended."
Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons say the United States should take military action against Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime due to evidence of chemical weapons use.
