By Sean Greene 3:29pm, September 30, 2013Wesley College jumped up one spot to No. 10 following their impressive 46-12 road victory over Birmingham-Southern Saturday.
The Wolverines led 37-0 after the opening quarter on the strength of two offensive touchdowns, a safety, and three separate fumble recoveries for touchdowns in the opening 15 minutes.
The victory came just seven days after the 35-7 loss to then-No. 4 Mary Hardin-Baylor, who checks in for the second straight week at No. 3.
Birmingham-Southern maintained one Top 25 vote despite the loss, while this week's opponent Huntingdon, and Week 2 opposition Salisbury also are lurking in the "others receiving votes" category. Widener was ranked 24th, but a loss knocked them entirely out of the poll.
Wesley faces Huntingdon for homecoming Saturday at noon.
