Traffic stop leads to crack cocaine seizure

A traffic stop in New Castle leads to two arrests.

County police say after multiple traffic violations were observed on Wilton Boulevard, they stopped a Cadillac Deville.

Prior to the stop, officers noticed several items being thrown out of the vehicle. The officers then located multiple bags of crack cocaine near the car.

The driver of the Cadillac, Antonio McCray-Bradley was charged with possession of a controlled substance and issued related traffic citations.

Markief Baynard, who was in the passenger seat was charged with possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

McCray-Bradley and Baynard were arraigned and committed to Howard Young Correctional Institute each in lieu of $12,000 cash bail.
