WDEL's Amy Cherry reports with video courtesy of NBC 10.A thick morning fog lingers over North Wilmington.
The fog that settled in late Tuesday night led to more than a dozen accidents on Delaware's roads with visibility of less than a quarter-mile at times.
The fog was supposed to dissipate in the midday, but stalled over northern New Castle County for several more hours.
Meanwhile to the south in Dover, Kent County, a different story: the fog has moved out, and there's a sunny, blue sky.
Earlier Wednesday morning, several downstate schools in Kent and Sussex opened two hours late.
