By Sean Greene 11:28pm, April 23, 2014The Eagles will get a taste of Thanksgiving football for just the second time in 24 years when they travel to Dallas as part of their 2014 schedule released Wednesday night.
Philadelphia will play the 4:30pm game at AT&T Stadium in Dallas in their NFC East matchup with the Cowboys, the second time the two teams have played on the holiday. The Eagles defeated the Cowboys 27-0 back in 1989.
Including the Thanksgiving game on FOX, the Eagles are slated for six games on national television, including Sunday Night Football home games against division rivals New York (October 12) and Dallas (December 14).
Monday Night Football is scheduled to get them twice, including the Week 2 (September 15) game at Indianapolis, and Week 10 (November 10) at home against Carolina.
The Thanksgiving game at Dallas begins a potentially tough five-game end to the schedule, as they'll host Super Bowl champion Seattle the next feel, followed by the home game with the Cowboys, and then road games against Washington and the Giants to wrap up the schedule.
DeSean Jackson and the Redskins are the Week 3 opponents at Lincoln Financial Field, with Philadelphia scheduled to go to San Francisco the following week.
Philadelphia's last Thanksgiving game was in 2008, when they hosted the night game against Arizona, winning 48-20.
