VIDEO: Highlights and Reaction from Delaware's Spring GameSophomore running back Wes Hills ran for 154 yards and found the end zone twice in an impressive performance during Delaware's annual Spring Game Saturday afternoon.
Hills took a handoff on the 3rd play of the game and raced to his left, finding space on the outside for a 60-yard touchdown. He later caught a swing pass from Justin Burns and turned that into a 23-yard touchdown in the 2nd quarter of the modified-format game.
Starting quarterback Trent Hurley saw limited action, completing 2 of his 4 passes for 19 yards. Burns finished 7-of-14 for 104 yards and 2 scores, the second of which went to Stephen Clark.
Defensively, Derrick Saulsberry, Blaine Woodson, Larry Spears, and Chris Buckley all had four tackles.
Punter Eric Enderson unleashed a 71-yard booming kick on his way to a 48.4 average on 7 kicks.
