A new business incubator on the campus of Wilmington University is highlighting the talents of some advanced game and media design students.

The incubator came about when university assistant professor Scott Shaw met the owner of business app company Exalt and offered his students' services to design and deliver a new video game for Exalt called Puzzlesque.

Shaw's students, including Jesse Lavigne, came through in just four weeks, and Lavigne was brought on by Exalt as a Wilmington University co-op.

"It is sort of a softer launch, yet you get to feel the consequences of having timelines and things are due and a certain quality is expected."

As part of the effort, Lavigne now manages five people who continue to develop and deliver games to Exalt.
