Two separate shootings are under investigation by Wilmington police.

One reportedly happened around 1 a.m. Sunday morning on the 700 block of East 28th Street.

Officers responding to the call say they located a 27-year-old male victim inside of a home in the block, suffering a bullet to his belly.

City detectives say the victim was sitting in his car when four juveniles - one wielding a gun - came up to him and demanded property. After the victim turned over his belongings, the gunman pulled the trigger.

The victim was brought to Christiana Hospital where he was last listed in stable condition.

The other shooting took place Friday night, around 10:20 p.m., in the area of 27th and Northeast Boulevard, where police say an 18-year-old male victim taking a walk was shot by an unknown suspect.

Police say the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his buttocks. He was transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.

Wilmington police say there are no suspects yet in either shooting.
