By Sean Greene 11:23am, June 4, 2013 - Updated 4:18pm, June 4, 2013Lincoln Financial Field will host five public Eagles training camp practices, as the team makes its summer transition from Lehigh to South Philadelphia this summer.
Tickets to the 12:30pm practices on July 28, August 5, August 11, August 17, and August 26 will go on sale Tuesday, June 18 at 2pm. Seating will be general admission by section. The team is currently planning on using the lower bowl of the stadium, with the option to open up more seats if demand grows.
The August 17th practice could be switched to 8:15am if the Phillies game that day is moved to the afternoon.
Parking for the Lincoln Financial Field practices will be free, with concessions available inside the stadium, although alcohol will not be served.
The other practices will take play at the nearby NovaCare Complex, with the team saying a limited number of season ticket holders will be selected to attend at random.
In addition, the Eagles will welcome the New England Patriots to Philly for a pair of joint practices on August 6-7 before squaring off in an exhibition game against them on August 9 at the Linc. It is the first time the Eagles will practice with another team since training with the Buffalo Bills in 1998.
"We are very excited to hold training camp in Philadelphia this summer," said Eagles President Don Smolenski. "We organized the practice schedule at Lincoln Financial Field to begin in late July and run throughout the entire month of August so that our fans and their families would have opportunities to come and see the team up close."
Rookies are scheduled to report to NovaCare on July 22, with training camp running through the final exhibition game at the Jets on August 29.
