Hodgson looks for its second state title when they battle No. 1 St. Georges on Saturday afternoon at 2pm inside Delaware Stadium.

Team: Hodgson Vo-Tech Silver Eagles (10-2, 7-0 Flight B)

Head Coach: Frank Moffett

How They Got Here: Wins over Howard (38-14) and Caravel (48-0).

Player to Watch: QB/S/K Ray Jones (Jr) - The all-around athlete has completed 58% of his passes for 1,325 yards to go with 20 touchdowns against 9 interceptions. He also leads the team in rushing with 1,096 yards and another 16 scores. Defensively he has 5 interceptions along with 13 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. He has even kicked 17 extra points. 4 of his 8 completed passes against St. Georges back in September went for touchdowns in a 24-21 victory.

Key to Victory: Contain the Selby brothers. St. Georges has lived on big plays this season from Taronn and Keyjuan, but neither had a rush longer than 24 yards in the first meeting. Making the Hawks drive the field gives more opportunities for playmakers like Jones and Bilal Nichols to make an impact on defense.

WDEL will have coverage of St. Georges and Hodgson as part of a Championship Day Doubleheader broadcast from Delaware Stadium immediately following Wesley College Football on 1150AM, WDEL.com, and the WDEL App.
