Following the release of images obtain from footage taken by a victim, Newark Police on Tuesday announced three additional arrests in connection to an assault on a hotel employee. 

According to authorities, following the initial arrest of 18-year-old Joseph Windsor, of Newark, and release of images captured by the Red Roof Inn employee who was attempting to escort three individuals away from the hotel on October 25, 2019, after they were caught trying to enter an out-of-service room, police additionally arrested 18-year-old Naheim Johnson and two juvenile girls, all from Wilmington. 

A 15-year-old Wilmington girl was arrested February 7, 2020, and a 14-year-old Wilmington girl was arrested February 13, while Johnson was taken into custody on February 14. 

Police said all three have been charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, second-degree conspiracy, offensive touching, and criminal mischief under $1,000.

The 15-year-old was placed into the custody of the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth, and their Families in lieu of $4,200 secured bond. The 14-year-old was released on $4,000 unsecured bond. Johnson was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $72,200 cash bond.
