A Bear-area resident is behind bars, charged with burglaries, thefts and burglary attempts, involving seven businesses during an overnight spree last week.

Brandon Wolski hit six businesses in the Route 202/Naamans Road corridor and one on Kennett Pike in Greenville early on the morning of July 3, 2019, Delaware State Police said.

Responding troopers noticed smashed windows at Helzberg Diamonds, Tobacco Village on Concord Pike, and Famous Jack's Tavern on Naamans Road.

Wolski allegedly took items from those businesses and tried, but failed to break into three others.

Troopers also found a car with smashed-out widows at Kinetic Skateboards. After investigators tracked down Wolski's car, he was arrested Friday at his home.

Wolski's now being held at the Howard R. Correctional Institution.
