A 15-year-old boy from Bear is out on bail, accused of stealing a car and resisting arrest.

State Police say a trooper saw a dark-colored Honda Accord stopped with its headlights off in the middle of Garasches Lane early Friday morning, walked up to the car and noticed the driver looked very young.

The trooper asked the teen if he had a license, the teen said he didn't, and when the cop told the boy to get out of the car, the boy ran.

The trooper caught up with the boy and charged him with felony vehicle theft and resisting arrest.

The car was returned to its owner.
