A celebration of life for Troy Haynes, Woobridge's 2018 All-State Quarterback who died Sunday, will be held Sunday, October 6, 2019, at his former football stadium.
The event at Blue Raider Stadium will get underway at 4 p.m.
Troy died Sunday after battling an aggressive form of kidney cancer that was discovered in April.
Haynes' fight caught the attention of the entire state of Delaware, and he was honored by the Philadelphia Eagles before a preseason game in August.
Visitation will also be held at Woodbridge High School, 14712 Woodbridge Road, Greenwood, Delaware, beginning at 2 p.m.
Woodbridge has announced they plan to honor their four-year starting quarterback before Friday night's game with Archmere, a game you can hear on WDEL.
