A convenience store north of Wilmington Manor was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday, Delaware State Police announced Thursday. 

According to authorities, a man entered the Wawa at 7 East Commons Boulevard around 1:35 a.m. on June 12, 2019, and pulled a gun on the clerk at the sales counter before making off with cigarettes. 

The suspect was described as a white male in his 60s, standing roughly 5'8", with a thin build. He fled in a black SUV eastbound along West Basin Road and into the entrance of Chelsea Estates/Cumberland Farms.
