A man from Bear convicted of raping three women over the course of seven years will go to prison for the rest of his life, plus 127 years in prison, Delaware Department of Justice officials announced Friday.

Kili Mayfield, 40, was arrested in June 2018 after he was connected to the beating, strangling, and raping of a woman in April 2017. His DNA was then tied to two other cold-case rapes from 2010 and 2014.

He was convicted in a non-jury trial in July 2019 of four counts first-degree rape, four counts second-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, strangulation, and third-degree assault.
