Sussex Central's Zion Reed catches a touchdown pass against Dover

After 12 long weeks, it's finally time for Football Championship Saturday in Delaware.

Over the course of about 9 hours, three state champions will be determined as Salesianum takes on Sussex Central for Division 1, Smyrna and Newark Charter rematch for the Unified Flag Football, and then Woodbridge and Friends meet for the Division 2 crown.

None of our crew could sort out all four teams who made it to the full-squad championships, and from the predictions, we think this could be a thrilling day of football at Delaware Stadium.

You can hear all of the action on 101.7FM WDEL, with our special "Players Only" Pregame show beginning at 12:00, all the way to the post-game interviews after the Division 2 title game.

SEAN GREENE - Last Week - 3-1 (75%) Overall - 192-46 (81%)

DON VOLTZ - Last Week -  3-1 (75%) Overall - 182-56 (76%)

PHIL ALMQUIST - Last Week -  2-2 (50%) Overall - 178-60 (75%)

KEVIN HAYES - Last Week -  1-3 (25%) Overall - 174-63 (73%)

GARY SCHOFIELD - Last Week - 3-1 (75%) Overall - 150-64 (70%)

Division 1 Championship - No. 2 Sussex Central (11-1) vs. No. 5 Salesianum (10-2) - 1pm

SEAN - Salesianum 17-14 - This figures to be a battle of field position and a couple of mistakes. Both defenses are playing at an extremely high level, so more than who wins, a game with more points than this could be surprising. As much as Sussex Central kept Dover in check in the 2nd half last week, the Senators did the game to the Golden Knights before making the necessary second-half adjustments. Salesianum's ability to throw the ball at a little higher level than Sussex Central (acknowledging that Isaac Barnes threw a nice pass to Dom Smith for the win last week) will be the difference. Don't be surprised if it's a defensive touchdown that ultimately proves crucial.

DON - Salesianum 14-13

PHIL - Sussex Central 28-21

KEVIN - Sussex Central 28-14

GARY - Sussex Central 28-26

CONSENSUS: None. Sussex Central gets the 3-2 nod, but it's also 3-2 that this game will be settled by 3 points or less.

Division 2 Championship - No. 2 Friends (10-1) vs. No. 4 Woodbridge (10-2) - No earlier than 6pm

(VIDEO | Highlights of the first meeting between Woodbridge and Friends)

SEAN - Woodbridge 21-10 - Friends won round 1 when they turned a Troy Haynes interception into a 28-yard Jacob Jaworski field goal. Two long pass plays hurt the Blue Raiders last time, and the question is will Woodbridge be ready for Wyatt Nelson's throws this time around. Allowing just two touchdowns in 2 games to Delmar would say yes, and it's just a matter of Friends trying to keep Woodbridge's explosive offense ahead of them again. It would be asking a lot, but these two teams rarely play a non-exciting game.

DON - Friends 21-20

PHIL - Woodbridge 35-21

KEVIN - Woodbridge 27-21

GARY - Woodbridge 27-17

CONSENSUS - Woodbridge 4-1, Sean has it a little lower scoring than the others.
