Two Dover men are facing multiple charges after they allegedly led Delaware state troopers on a chase.

The car Javon Young and Khalil Dixon were riding in Friday afternoon had a fake license plate, police said, so troopers tried to pull Young and Dixon over on Bay Road near East Lebanon Road, but they took off, Delaware State Police said.

During the chase, which ended when the car hit a cruiser near Pine Cabin Road and Billy Mitchell Lane, Young, who was driving, allegedly tried to ram several squad cars.

Young and Dixon, who were wanted on outstanding warrants, are accused of having nearly 1300 grams of pre-packaged heroin in their car, along with crack, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and more than $400.00 worth of suspected drug money.

Both men were booked into the Sussex Correctional Institution.
