A man was injured, a home was struck, and two vehicles were damaged in a pair of shootings in Dover's Barrister Place community over the weekend, authorities said Monday. 

According to Dover Police, the first incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019, when multiple shots were fired in the 400 block of Barrister Place and a resident later discovered a bullet had entered the first floor of his home through a window. 

The second incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2019, when a 27-year-old man in the area of Barrister Place and South Little Creek Road heard gunshots, began to run, and was struck in the leg. He was driven to a local hospital by an acquaintance and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Two vehicles in the 400 block of Barrister Place were also struck by gunfire in the incident.
