A 14-year-old juvenile has been charged with beating another teen to the point of unconsciousness and then robbing him, Dover Police announced Wednesday.

According to authorities, the juvenile was with a second suspect when they confronted the victim and demanded his headphones around 6:40 p.m. on August 10, 2019, in the Dover East Estates mobile home park.

When the victim refused, he was beaten until he lost consciousness, and the suspects stole his backpack and other belongings.

The juvenile was charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy. He was committed to a juvenile detention center in lieu of $21,000 secured bond.
