Wilmington Police arrested a man in connection with a 2019 murder in the city.
Twenty-six-year-old Keith Talley was taken into custody Monday, January 27, 2020, by Wilmington Police, U.S. Marshals, and Delaware Probation and Parole officers.
Police said Talley shot and killed Jaron Smullen, 29, on the 100 block of East 24th Street at 4:01 p.m. on December 3, 2019. Smullen, who was hospitalized, later succumbed to his injuries.
Talley faces first-degree murder charges as well as charges of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited.
He was arraigned and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on more than $1 million bail.
