Police work outside a South Jersey home where a family of four died on February 5, 2020

Police have named the man accused of killing his wife and young children in Salem County, New Jersey, before taking his own life.

Officers responded to a 911 call early Wednesday to find the body of Eugenio Severino in a wooded area in Carney's Point off Route 40.

Police allege he hanged himself.

A well-being check was then performed at his Penns Grove home, and that's where officers found his wife Ruth Reyes and two children, two-year-old Eury and five-year-old Euriany, stabbed to death.

Police said Reyes had a restraining order against Severino after he purportedly threatened her life.
