A New York man was charged with trafficking in fake Apple products and counterfeit cash after a Dover traffic stop.
Troopers pulled over Alsurymi Abdulrahman's minivan on State Route 1 southbound near the Dover Toll Plaza for an illegal lane change Saturday morning, Delaware State Police said.
Troopers noticed an odor of pot coming from the van, and Adbulrahman, who police said looked nervous, opened the glove box to get his registration, and revealed a large amount of cash, which police said was counterfeit.
A search of the van turned up a bag with more bogus bills, along with fake Apple products including computer and iPhone USB cables, ear plugs, and power adapters.
Abdulrahman is out on bail, charged with counterfeit trademark, which is a felony, along with driving without a license and making an improper lane change.
