A Middletown community is a finalist for one of Reader's Digest's "Nicest Places in America in 2019."
The Estates at Saint Anne's deserves the honor, said senior editor Jeremy Gunderson.
"It's a very friendly place. When transplants come in, the welcome mat is rolled out--you know that when you're living there, that you're part of a community and that these people have your back," said Gunderson on WDEL's Del-AWARE.
Gunderson also praised residents for their roles in protesting a 2019 Hummers Parade float, which saw a float that alleged bashed illegal immigrants, which some found offensive.
