A 17-year-old Middletown teen pled guilty to fatally shooting a man in 2018, Delaware Department of Justice officials announced Friday.
According to authorities, Derrick Caudle pled guilty to shooting Todd Dorn, 18, of Middletown, to death during a fight in the 500 block of New Street, near Caudle's home.
At one point during the fight, Caudle went into his home, returned with a gun, shot Dorn once in the torso, and walked back home where he waited for police to arrive.
Caudle pled guilty to second-degree murder and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. He faces sentencing in January.
