An argument outside a Newark-area bookstore has led to felony charges for the man and woman involved.
Charles Dangel and Nialeva Titus were arguing in the parking lot of 2nd & Charles book shop on Geoffrey Drive Saturday morning when Titus pepper-sprayed Dangel and Dangel pulled a gun and pointed it at Titus, Delaware State Police said.
When troopers arrived, they found Dangel in the men's room at the nearby Dunkin' Donuts, searched him and found the gun, which was concealed in a holster and loaded, officers said.
Dangel, who police said doesn't have a concealed-carry permit, was booked into the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on charges of weapons possession, aggravated menacing, and disorderly conduct.
Titus was released on bail after she was arraigned on assault and disorderly conduct counts.
