Two individuals are facing drug charges after Dover Police said they were observed carrying the narcotics to and from a vehicle. 

According to authorities, Khalil Hanzer and Tiffiny Melton, both 25, were spotted in the unit block of South New Street around 5:05 p.m. and Hanzer was found to have active warrants for his arrest out of two courts and the Dover Police Department. 

Police said they made contact with the pair and found them moving 30 ecstasy pills, 175.3 grams of marijuana, and a large folding knife with a blade longer than three inches. 

Hanzer was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to deliver MDMA, possession of MDMA-Tier II quantity, possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, second-degree conspiracy, and drug paraphernalia. He was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $16,500 secured bond. 

Melton was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, second-degree conspiracy, and drug paraphernalia. She was released on $8,500 unsecured bond.
